Australian media say a snake prevailed in a dire battle against a crocodile, having wrestled, constricted and eaten the reptile.
An eyewitness, Tiffany Corlis, caught on camera how a 10 -feat snake, probably a python, coiled
itself around the crocodile and the two fought in the water.
Corlis characterized the incident as "amazing", adding that it took the snake some 15 minutes to eat the crocodile.
It is worth mentioning that many snakes have flexible jaws due to which they can swallow prey much bigger in size.
The Australian state of Queensland, where the incident occurred, is considered to be home to some of the world's most dangerous snakes, as well as saltwater crocodiles.
