What's wrong if the Presidency directed EFFC to investigate APC members?



A leaked document emanating from the Presidency which directed the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to commence secret investigate on the official and personal finances of key members of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC). The document dated February 19, 2015, was allegedly written and signed by the Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, Jones Arogbofa directed the chairman of the anti-graft agency to investigate the finances of the opposition members and report back on March 16, 2015. “I have been directed by the C-inC to intruct your
agency to clandestinely investigate the personal and official finances of the following present and former government functionaries and report back by the 16th of March”, the document quoted Arogbofa as saying. He went further to list the names of those to be investigated, top of whom include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, Former Lagos State governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Taraba State, Aisha Alhassan. Others are Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, Senator Bukola Saraki, Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State, Governor Aliyu Wamako of Sokoto State and a host of others.
