Afro beats Festival Malaysia is now one of the most recognizable Platform for Entertainment in South-East Asia. The aim of AFROBEATZ FESTIVAL MALAYSIA is to Promote, Showcase and celebrate the existence of Afro Music within Africans in Malaysia and to bring about Unity within Africans and friends of Africans in Malaysia.
AFROBEATZ FESTIVAL MALAYSIA was initiated in 2011. The event has now been marked as Malaysia’s biggest Annual Event and an Award winning African Event. It grew from its First Edition with the Aboki man himself ICE PRINCE ZAMANI (NIG) in March 2011 to its second Edition in October 2012 with one of Africa’s best Lyrical Rapper OLAMIDE aka BADDO (NIG), down to its 3rdEdition in November 2013 with the Don Gorgon himself BURNA BOY (NIG), MAMPI (Zambia) and International DJ JAM JAM(UK).
Following the previous years’ success and by popular demand from Afro beats fans/followers, AFROBEATZ FESTIVAL MALAYSIA 2014 now returns for its Fourth Edition with a Big Bang! The event this year plans to deliver a spectacular showcase; Artist’s performances, Cultural dance groups, party atmosphere with extensive media coverage on mainstream platforms. There will be a rich mixture of entertainment including; Music, Dance, Comedy and Dj Battle Competition.
DJ EXCLUSIVE will be the official Judge for the AfroBeatz DJ battle Competition 2014. The aim of the Afro Beats DJ Battle Competition is to provide an avenue and opportunity were young talented DJs will showcase skills and compete within each other fare and free. The winner goes home with $ 1,500 cash price and an automatic nomination for World Best DJ Category: African Global Dj Award 2015 (AGDA)
