Its a pity that Many are craving for Biafra war 2.......
Don't get me wrong, Biafra is not an issue but the war.
We have places like Arewa, which consist of all states in the northern part of the country but still is part of Nigeria, so I see nothing bad in calling states in the East Biafra.
The Nigerian civil war, popularly known all over the world as the "Biafran War" was fought from 2 July 1967 to 15 January 1970. The war was between thethen Eastern Region of Nigeria and the rest
of the country. The Eastern Region declared itself an independent state which
was regarded as an act of secession by the Federal Military Government of Nigeria.
The war was fought to reunify the country. In order to understand what led to the civil war.
During the war many people died and lots of children went hungry, elders cry whenever the khaki used during the war is seen but there are young people who think that they can embark on this just because they have not seen or better still heard of the story from those that fought the war then.
The war which lasted for almost two years never had and will never have a story telling the world how sweet the experience was. Many youths out there are willing to purchase weapons, contribute money for Biafra war 2, there are many people out there that don't have food why not
be a blessing to there life or better still you can give your government the money to help develop your community if you feel your money is too much.

you long for freedom? Just if we all want to be free I bet that one day mbise will want to be free from Ngwa, oil producing states will love to gain freedom from non oil producing part of the States too, it will go down to villages wanting to be free from other villages.

Think of better ways to develop, effect change and building a solid foundation for our next generation to stand on.
Biafra is your story not war..... think.

Here we stand as a people
ReplyDeleteWith one song, with one voice
We're a nation, undivided and poised
We will take our stand, and build our land
With faith to defend what is ours
Here we are as a people
With one heart, for one cause
We're determined to rebuild and restore
Where freedom reigns, and truth prevails
A land where there's hope for us all
A land where there's hope for us all
Chorus:
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in this nation, and we know we'll
get there
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in Nigeria and the promise she
holds
And that one day we'll shine like the sun
We're a great nation
Verse 2:
Though we are many people
Different tribes, different tongues
We're united in our strength and resolve
To uphold the honour of our land
And for generations to come
And for generations to come
Chorus:
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in this nation, and we know we'll
get there
We're all we have, we'll defend our land
We believe in Nigeria and the promise she
holds
And that one day we'll shine like the sun
We're a great nation
