A married father-of-two, Warren Green, 33, from London faked his own kidnapping so he could cheat on his mistress with a third woman.

It was said that he left his family to see his girlfriend Chelsea Linn in Edinburgh. But at some point he changed his mind and asked a friend to call his lover to say he had been kidnapped.

"Two of his friends made up a story as if he had been dragged into a car by white men and then punched and kicked as he lay chained to a radiator in the abductors’ flat. The woman was shocked to hear the news she called the police and when Mr Green showed up at her apartment days after he was detained and quizzed.

He told police officers that he had been abducted, assaulted and held to ransom.

The man kept insisting he had become the victim of kidnapping but after police officers examined his clothes ans phone records his fabricated story fell apart. After hours of interrogation he eventually admitted he was lying to his mistress so he could “sneak off to see another girl”.

He was sentence to 120 hours of community service, and also placed on 12 months supervision order". If na naija i guess dem no go catch am.......
